The seeds of Londonsea Ltd were sown in October 1996 when
Carl Rees, a London-based NHS Public Relations Manager with
a BA (Hons) in Public Relations, established his one-stop PR
and marketing communications business.
Since then Carl has operated as a valued communications
consultant for a range of organisations predominantly in the
healthcare arena. He was the interim Head of Communications
at St Mary’s NHS Trust at the time of the Paddington Train
Crash and has worked for various healthcare bodies in a
range of capacities.
He has 17 years’ experience of high-profile media handling –
broadcast and nationals through to specialist publications
and online media. He has established and sold his own highly
successful web development company and brings with him an
entrepreneurial approach to each project he takes on.
Today, Carl sits at the centre of Londonsea as its prime
consultant and creative force. Next to him is fellow
director Justine Desmond, one of the leading healthcare
photographers in the country
